Off the road restaurant. Staff was superb. But the food was a bit of a let down. Turkey and stuffing was bland. Milkshakes were excellent though. Also a little tricky to safely enter and exit given the location on the edge of a turn.

Absolutely fantastic breakfast at Fletcher's in Truro. I had blueberry pancakes with a side of ham. The ham was very flavorful and the pancakes were some of the best I have ever had. Absolutely chock-full of blueberries and delicious. As a side note, I am deaf and my server took special care to make sure that my order was correct. She checked back frequently to fill my coffee cup and see if there was anything that I needed. Very special treatment and I sure appreciate her concern. If I ever ride through this area again I will certainly stop, and can recommend them 100%.

Reliable, clean and casual diner with attentive service and good food, frequented by locals. They serve a great breakfast and the prices are very reasonable given how expensive eating out has become. Highly recommended.

Stopped in to Fletcher's for some take out sea food. Decided to order the platter that included fish, clam strips and scallops, with fries. Overall not a bad offering and decent value. The fish was good, but greasy, the clam strips were tasty and plentiful, and the scallops were very good, but there were only a few unfortunately. Service was fast and friendly they even offered to get me some water while I was waiting for my order. Overall good experience and I'd come back to try something else.

My dad brought me to this place in Truro just off the highway. He said all the locals love it here. I can see why ! The atmosphere was festive .. and decorated for Christmas . The menu wasn’t overly large and to me that’s a good sign as it keeps the ingredients fresh. I had the liver and onions, dad picked hit hamburger sandwich. Both dishes were served promptly and were delicious. I wasn’t actually hungry when we got there , and despite that my plate was empty when we left .

Nice and bustling diner on the corner of Highway 2. Got two plates of breakfast a bit before noon. Solid eggs and toast, good bacon. The breakfast sausage was the highlight, not sure where it's sourced from but it has a pleasant unique flavour. Service was quick and attentive, despite the diner being nearly packed. Only complaint was the home fries were clearly quite old, quite dry and underseasoned. Was fine with some salt n ketchup. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a good plate of bacon n eggs. Maybe come a bit earlier, hash may be fresher.
