The food was great! Not a huge selection but everything was delicious. There was prime rib, roast beef, roasted chicken, pulled pork and all the trimmings. Had the prime rib, chicken, pulled pork, mashed potatoes and gravy. Deserts were delicious! The service was genuinely polite and friendly. I would definitely go back to this place any chance I get. It's truly one of my favorites. 6 out of 5 stars! ****** Visited again today. A++ service and outstanding food. This is one of my favorites! Thank you Mackenzie :)

Today was my dad's 85th birthday. I can't say enough about how awesome the staff, facility and the food was. Our amazing serer even took the picture. This is a memory we'll cherish forever. Thank you Wayside Dining Lounge. 10 Stars

We visited for the first time this past Sunday for their breakfast buffet. We arrived just before it opened and the parking lot was already packed with people waiting for the doors to open. The staff were super friendly and around constantly clearing plates and offering fresh coffee. They had a great cold salad bar and probably the best beef barley soup I’ve ever had. The breakfast buffet was perfect and had everything you needed - bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, the most perfectly crisp hash browns, pancakes, French toast and eggs Benedict brought out fresh from the kitchen. On top of that they had a 4 cheese pasta, as well as ham and roast beef carved in front of you. The meat was super tender and my daughter LOVED the pasta. The dessert bar had a great selection of tarts, squares and the most amazing cheesecake cups. Price was very reasonable - $100 for two adults and 3 kids, with 2 coffees (I forgot to see if that was included, but apple and orange juice was!) We will definitely be back!

This is my favorite restaurant … ever! I had an issue that they took very seriously, even when I realized I was in the wrong. This experience reminds me that customers can sometimes be at fault. They really went above and beyond to resolve the situation!! They also accommodate my physical disability, which makes my dining experience much easier. The steak is exceptional. My sister said it is the best steak she has ever had. I also appreciate that I feel like I am making a better choice than fast food or even compared to Swiss Chalet, where I end up spending more.

Firts time coming to Wayside, and I have to say, after traveling past 100 times it was definately worth the stop. The atmosphere is SO cool, the history of the building and how long its been here is great. The prices are great for the fantastic quality of the food, the staff is good, Erin (our server) Was exceptional. Highly recommend this Resturant, it hosts events and celebrations. Definately coming back and making this a regular haunt.

Great family dining! Don't be fooled by old Google photos: this is not Indian cuisine any longer. It was, briefly. It is now classic North American fare: burgers, chicken, roast beef, etc. Decor is traditional and older styled, but creates a classic "Sunday dinner out" vibe. Very friendly staff. The food is nothing spectacular but also not disappointing in any way. A safe bet and good portion sizes.

Wayside is the embodiment of “made with love” in every way. Incredible homemade food prepared with time and dedication-Love. Front of house staff are genuine and thoughtful-Love. Family owned and passionately maintained-Love. You feel comfortable and welcomed as extended family-Love. Special thank you to our server, Erin, for going above and beyond for us. You are a wonderful human.
