We didn't experience any of the issues some reviewers seem to have trouble with. The service was just fine, our waitress was very nice. The food came out quickly and it was delicious. We had the Deep Fried White Fish, which is the special on Fridays. It was nice and flaky and while the Haddock is cheaper and a larger portion, the White Fish is locally sourced and the Haddock is not. We also had The Works Poutine, which was super tasty. I would eat here again without a second thought. However, if the owner happens to read this.. a "Please Seat Yourself" sign might be needed, as we did stand at the front like knobs for a couple minutes waiting to be seated, since we didn't know.

Very nice atmosphere. Staff were excellent. The food was good. I had the whitefish and fries. It was very good, especially with the garlic sauce. Fries were really long and crispy. Lots of menu choices. Lively atmosphere.

This pub was the highlight of all the places my partner & I tried whilst in Yellowknife. The atmosphere and customer service were amazing. The food was delicious & had gluten free options (the best GF burger bun I’ve ever had!). Highly recommend trying this place out.

If you’re in Yellowknife on a Wednesday, don’t miss Wing Night—it’s the ultimate spot to indulge in amazing wings and more! Here’s my experience: We arrived early at 4:30 PM (Wing Night officially starts at 5:00 PM), and our server was incredibly accommodating. They took our orders at 4:45 PM so we could dive in as soon as the festivities began. Pro tip: Arrive early—the place fills up fast! We tried a variety of wings, but the dry rub options stole the show, especially the lemon pepper rub—an absolute standout! Their burgers also deserve a special mention, particularly the BBQ Guinness Burger, which was nothing short of phenomenal. Whether you’re out for wings, drinks, and a good time with friends, or prefer a cozy night at home with pick-up or delivery, this place has you covered. Chef grade food here! Get ready to go back to medieval Scotland. This pub is a Yellowknife historical jewel. The stripper skillet and eggs Benny were phenomenal. Seriously, Gordon Ramsey would probably hire this chef. Great service, fantastic food and children are welcome during the day. Definitely worth stopping in if you are in Yellowknife.

My brother and I visited for wing night on Wednesday. The lemon pepper and hot wings were delicious. The beer was cold. The pub atmosphere was pubbing. The most impressive part though was the service. Our server, Jacky, was a consummate professional with quick, witty banter that kept us entertained thoughout the evening. Jacky strongly recommended the Bison Burger but we unfortunately missed the chance to try it. She had great wing recommendations too which we took her up on :)
